The Calabasas High School Girls Volleyball team, led by first-year Head Coach Taytum Reckleff, showed determination and growth during the 2024-2025 season. Facing a challenging schedule, the Coyotes finished with an overall record of 2-18 and an 0-10 mark in Marmonte League play, maintaining a competitive spirit throughout the year.

Season Highlights

Senior Night:

On October 15th, the team celebrated Senior Night with a home match against the Agoura Chargers. While they ultimately fell 3-0, the event highlighted the contributions of the team’s graduating seniors.

Notable Victories

The Coyotes secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over El Camino Real in an exciting matchup early in the season.

Calabasas earned a commanding 2-0 win against TPAA, demonstrating their potential with a strong performance.

Key Players

Gabby Vaisman: A senior outside hitter, Vaisman provided leadership on the court, contributing both offensively and defensively.

Sophie Kaplan: Senior setter Kaplan was a key facilitator for the team’s offensive efforts, showcasing her court vision and skillful playmaking.

Lucy Cook: As the team’s libero, Cook was the cornerstone of the defense, excelling in passing and ball control.

The Coyotes are focused on rebuilding and improving for the 2025-2026 season. With a mix of returning talent and fresh energy, along with Coach Reckleff’s guidance, the team looks to rise in the Marmonte League standings and achieve greater success in the future.
