The Calabasas High School Boys Tennis team is gearing up for the 2024-2025 season, building on a strong legacy of success in the Marmonte League and the CIF Southern Section (8 CIF Championships). Currently, the team is on a historic run of 6 consecutive Marmonte League Championships and had a 50-match streak snapped in a tie breaking loss to Oak Christian in the 2023-2024 season.

Recent Achievements:

2021 Season: The team achieved an impressive 18-2 record, advancing to the 2021 Ford CIF Open Division Championships semifinals with a 15-3 victory against Corona Del Mar High School.

2022 Season: Similar to the 2021 season, the Coyotes finished with the #3 ranking in the CIF-Southern Section Open Division. The Coyotes went undefeated in the regular season and were the best team in the Northern Area.

2023 Season: Winning the Marmonte League again, the Coyotes finished with the #3 Ranking in the CIF-Southern Section Division 1.

2024 Season: The Coyotes regressed slightly, finishing with the #10 ranking in the CIF-Southern Section Division 1. However, they continued their dominance in the Marmonte League with their 15th league title.

Key Players to Watch:

Landon Stopler (Junior): Stopler is looking to carry the torch passed by his older brother Braden.

Jonah Bar-or (Senior): Bar-or is a senior looking to become a star for the Coyotes.

Griffin Feinbloom (Sophomore): Like Bar-or, Feinbloom will look to step up and solidify his spot as a frontrunner for the Coyotes.

Upcoming Schedule Highlights:

The 2024-2025 season features a series of competitive matchups, including:

Calabasas’ non-League Matches include Buckley, Cleveland, Campbell Hall, El Camino Real, Notre Dame, Viewpoint, as they look to gauge their early-season form.

As usual, the Coyotes will play 10 Marmonte League matches against Westlake, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Oaks Christian, Agoura, looking to continue their usual success.

Team Outlook:

The Coyotes will look to sustain their Marmonte League dominance despite losing a multitude of seniors, including Braden Stopler, Griffin Marcus, Tyler Mah, Cameron Tamaddon, Omar Sijlamassi, and Nico Jansen.
