The Calabasas High School Girls Lacrosse team is set to begin their second season of competition in 2024-2025. Coming off a challenging inaugural season, the Coyotes are determined to make strides and establish themselves as a competitive program.

Last Season Recap

In their first year, the Coyotes finished with a 1-18 overall record and went 0-9 in league play. Despite the difficulties of starting a new program, the team secured a historic first victory on April 9 against Heritage Christian, marking a significant milestone in their development.

Key Players:

Hannah Sarnoff (Senior): Sarnoff is expected to be a key leader for the team this season, contributing both offensively and defensively with her leadership and experience.

Auden Harlowe (Senior): Harlowe's ability to control the field and make strategic plays will be crucial as the team looks to compete at a higher level.

Sofie Wolfson (Senior): As one of the team’s most skilled players, Wolfson’s versatility and game awareness will be pivotal in their attempts to turn the season around.

Notable Matchups:

The Coyotes’ non-conference schedule features competitive games against Dos Pueblos, Birmingham, Palisades, San Marcos, and Heritage Christian.

In their Marmonte League schedule, the team will face Agoura, Oak Park, Newbury Park, Oaks Christian, Royal, and Simi Valley, which will provide several tests against some of the league's strongest teams.

Looking Ahead:

Despite the challenges of their first season, the Calabasas Girls Lacrosse team is focused on developing their skills, improving their team chemistry, and looking for growth in every matchup throughout the 2024-2025 season. With experienced seniors like Sarnoff, Harlowe, and Wolfson leading the charge, the team hopes to take significant steps forward this year.
